Outsourcing of claims handling
From 1st January 2009 the Norwegian Motor Insurers’ Bureau (Trafikkforsikringsforeningen: TFF) shall outsource the settlement of claims. For this reason TFF has entered into an agreement with Van Ameyde Norway AS who act as an agent for TFF. However, TFF ensures that TFFs policy statements will continue and the claims handling will be done under supervision of TFF.

TFF emphasise that Van Ameyde Norway – as agent - will only represent us in their capacity of claims handler for Green Card claims. TFF will still be fronting the Authorities, EU bodies and the bodies within the Green Card System. Van Ameyde Norway plays no part nor have any function in these areas.

TFF will still remain in charge of confirming the cover and will continue to handle:

• Guarantee Calls
• on request cases involving conflict of interest
• all other activities pursuant to EU’s Directives and Internal Regulations between Bureaux.

Consequently all Green Card claims to TFF, except for Guarantee Calls, should from 1st January 2009 be directed to:
